In the heart of the Constable Country, on the Essex Way, nestled amongst farmers fields and woodland you will find our newly opened shepherds hut, Back in Thyme.

A perfect balance of rustic and contemporary, Back in Thyme provides a rural get away with all the modern comforts. Smart TV, heating, power shower and plenty of parking. 

Private Hot Tub

Enjoy your very own private hot tub, conveniently adjoined to the lodge for ultimate comfort and relaxation.

Please note: the hot tub is offered as an optional extra and is available for an additional charge if requested.

The space
This is a self contained newly opened shepherds hut, with patio area, hot tub and parking located in the grounds of a 22 acre rural farm with alpacas, horses, Pygmy goats, chickens and peacocks situated right beside Essex Way. It is positioned 5 minutes from anA12 link, 10 minutes from Colchester town and less than an hour from London.

Unfortunately this is not one of our properties that is suitable for pets or children.

Guest access
The guests can walk anywhere on the grounds of the 25 acre farm except for the fenced private areas of other accommodation or the main farm house. 

Other things to note
Our check in time is usually 4pm as we give ourselves a larger window to rectify any hot tub or property issues from the previous guests.

Our check out time is 10am unless otherwise arranged.
